For Australian accounting firms
More capacity, with your firm still in control.
Build dedicated preparation capacity around your firm’s workflow, file standards and review process. Your registered practitioners retain supervision, judgement and lodgement responsibility.
Designed around supervision
Offshore the workflow, not accountability.
A dedicated employee can prepare reconciliations, workpapers, bookkeeping, payroll inputs and reporting packs in your practice systems. The useful question is not simply what can be moved offshore; it is how each item will be allocated, reviewed and released.
Jade recruits and employs the person in the Philippines. Your firm provides daily work direction, system access, technical standards and registered-practitioner supervision.
A clear control chain
Make the hand-offs visible.
- 01
Classify the work
Separate repeatable preparation from judgement, advice, client approvals and regulated services.
- 02
Set review gates
Document who reviews workpapers, resolves exceptions and authorises anything leaving the firm.
- 03
Control access
Use firm-managed identities, MFA, least privilege and a prompt joiner–mover–leaver process.
- 04
Train to your standard
Provide examples, checklists and feedback so capability grows inside your operating system.
Regulatory boundary
Jade does not hold Australian tax or BAS agent registration.
That boundary is deliberate and explicit. Services are structured as employment and operational support, with regulated review, advice and lodgement handled by your firm or another appropriately registered practitioner.
The Tax Practitioners Board also asks registered practices to consider confidentiality, disclosure, supervision and competent service when work is outsourced or offshored. Your engagement design should address those duties.
Questions and answers
Practical details
Can Jade lodge BAS or tax returns?
No. Jade is not registered with the Australian Tax Practitioners Board as a tax or BAS agent. A dedicated employee may support preparation and processing within the agreed scope, but review, regulated advice and lodgement remain with the client or its registered practitioner.
Will a team member work across other firms?
No. Jade’s service is based on full-time employees dedicated to one client.
Who selects the candidate?
Your firm interviews the shortlisted candidates and selects the person it wants to employ through Jade’s Philippine entity.
